These last two weeks have been great for me. Well, tasks and assignments were coming and activities were like never-ending turning wheel. I was elected to be the procurement for my church's Christmas events. These last two days, me, Wiwit, Jawir and Mr. Yuris decorated that 10 feet Christmas tree =( It's a time consuming work!!! Well, I did wish that there will be more than us to participate in this activities. Since it's our celebration, especially our church celebration. Well, i'm grateful for I have the opportunity to work this load by just the four of us...
Church... as time goes on... is growing everywhere. There are a lot of domination with their own point of view to some MINOR things. These MINOR makes us different from each other, but yet we're ONE. We're ONE not in one domination or regional influences... we're ONE because we believe in the SAME God, Jesus Christ... For we believe that He is the only God and our Saviour... When we think like this, that JESUS is the HEAD and we (churches) are the body, then... there's no need to compare one after another... influencing others to leave their home church and other things that may lead to disintegration.
There is reason behind the diversity of churches on earth... yet God allows it to happen. Yesterday, I have a very beautiful conversation with Mr. Yuris, the coordinator of Christmas commitee. He said: Church is the salt in this life. It's existence has to be seen on this life... How? By ministry, and not only in terms of sunday's service but also by participating in solving the surrounding issues. Church is the distribution line of God's blessing to this earth... By this meaning, it's obvious that we're all have contribution to our surrounding, according to our talents and gifts, we can give something to our neighborhood. And by cooperating together, we'll bring God's love to this earth.
Let's us not see the difference between churches... the way of praising God, the preacher's way of preaching and so forth... but let's agree to one basic thing: WE ALL HAVE OUR OWN PARTS in this ministry to our GOD. We're FAMILIES in CHRIST, let's us help each other to bring God's love in this earth by things we're good at, by things we think needed by humanity...
"Distribution Line has to distribute it's content to the it's destinations, if it's blocked, it will exploded for there will be built up pressure inside, and to prevent this the source will stop delivering the content (hahaha, it's chemical engineering stuff)... and so is with Our God's blessing... don't keep it for ourself for God's blessing will be stop delivered to us =) Be generous and kind, for we're all the children of God, the salt and the light of this world"
